Shipping Policy

Order handling:

Before initiating the delivery, all our formulations are checked for any damages and hand packed in Mumbai. Please allow us the following number of days to deliver your formulations to you:

All orders are processed within 2 working days (we want to ensure you get the freshest batch, so quality check takes time).

Please note that we will be unable to schedule shipping for orders with incomplete address or wrong telephone number.

 

Order communication:

You will receive order related emails in two stages.

  1. An order confirmation email once you place the order.
  2. A shipment email once the order is dispatched from our office to your address. You will be able to track your order on the website of the relevant courier company through the tracking code in the second email.

 

For all deliveries:

  • Order deliveries will be made from Monday to Saturday. Excluding public holidays.
  • You can expect your formulation to reach you within 2 to 3 business days in Mumbai, 4-5 business days in other cities and 7 to 10 business days for locations in difficult coverage areas, within India.
  • International deliveries are expected to reach in 10-20 business days based on location. Certain international locations maybe subject to customs duties, which shall have to be paid by the customer on receipt. We only charge shipping fee and not customs duty.
  • Goods will need to be received and signed upon delivery. If you are not available to sign your package any alternate person can sign for you. However, Oleum Cottage does not take responsibility for goods signed by an alternate person.
  • If you have placed a Cash On Delivery (COD) order, we will keep you in the loop on when we’re dispatching your order. Please ensure you keep the cash and if required, change in hand, to have a seamless experience at delivery.
  • All claims for shortages or damages must be reported to customer service (Email: hello@oleumcottage.com) with images of the specific concern) within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Shipping and handling rates may vary based on product, packaging, size, volume and location considerations. The shipping and handling rates are given in the table below.
  • Shipping and handling rates: INR 30 up to an Order Value of INR 300 and INR 40 up to an Order Value of INR 1000.
  • We offer free shipping on all domestic orders worth INR 1000 and above. This order value is calculated after applying any discount or offer.
  • We offer Cash on Delivery (COD) for shipping within India. These orders are charged an additional handling fee by our logistics provider.

Our Shipping and COD rates may get updated based on revisions in our logistics partner’s fees. Consumers will know the exact shipping charges at the time of check out and before making payments.

 

 

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy

If you are looking at this, we assume you have already bought from us so thank you for choosing healthy skin care. If you are in the middle of making a choice, let us bring this home for you.

 

What is your return policy?

We hope you will be satisfied with your purchase, as our goal is to provide you with formulations that are perfect for your skin and health.

We do not offer any return/refunds once the purchase has been made. This is because every batch is made fresh and we do not use any artificial ingredients to extend the life of the product and to maintain hygiene, products once bought cannot be returned. However, we would appreciate if you could tell us why you thought of returning our products. Trust us they work. Give it a go.

 

Can I modify my order?

Sometimes we are all indecisive. And if on one of those days, after placing an order, you wish to modify it, please write to us within 2 hours of placing the order (Email: hello@oleumcottage.com, Whatsapp: +91 93264 70587).

Depending on the availability of items, we may be able to help you modify your order, though we may not be able to refund your amount.

Order modifications are subject to the Oleum Cottage team’s agreement. We urge you to email and text us as soon as such a thing happens.

 

What if I received my order damaged?

In rare cases, if our courier partner slips and delivers you a broken or leaked bottle, please get in touch with us within 1 day of delivery. You will need to send the images of your damaged parcel to hello@oleumcottage.com or Whatsapp on +91 9326470587.

In case of a genuine damage, we will be very happy to deliver your new formulation to your doorstep, and take back the damaged one. However, if the leakage or spillage is minor and you would like to continue using the rest of the formulation, we can arrange for a partial refund, after discussing with you.

Oleum Cottage won’t be responsible for damages that occur after delivery or after the formulation has been opened.

 

Can I exchange my products for something else?

Sorry! Unfortunately we do not offer exchanges on any items after they have been shipped to you.

 

What is your Cancellation policy?

We process your orders as soon as we receive them. Yes, we are prompt like that. But we do understand that sometimes, you may wish to cancel your order. So orders once placed on www.oleumcottage.com can be cancelled till you receive the fulfilment email from us, which typically takes about 2 hours during our working days. Please do send an email to hello@oleumcottage.com AND Whatsapp/call us on +91 93264 70587 to talk about your cancellation. If the cancellation is agreed upon, we will issue a refund to you. Orders purchased during promotions/discounts cannot be cancelled. Cancellation is not applicable on gift cards and gift boxes.

Order cancellations are subject to the Oleum Cottage team’s agreement.

A minimal incidental cost if any, will be communicated to you based on your specific case.
